So I’m sitting here in a company meeting, and we can’t stay on track for anything. Every week it’s the same stuff, 95% of this doesn’t matter to me being the network engineer. I don’t really consider myself “above” anyone else here, but damn I feel like I lose IQ points in these meetings.
My 5 reasons why company meetings like this always fail to make any progress.
#5) We start with no direction
#4) The lead person has no idea what he’s trying to lead
#3) The company in general spends all it’s time trying to reinvent wheels
#2) The company spends it’s time chasing these wheel reinvention ideas like they are actually good ideas
#1) When an idea doesn’t work, they look around confused and ask “why doesn’t the idea work?”
